Euro ITRs: are our cars stolen like in the USA?
As the title says. I often read threads about stolen ITRs in the USA. I live in east Europe (Czech republic) and here nobody knows what the ITR is, the car is very rare. The european cars (VW, Audi, BMW etc) are stolen very often, but I don't know any case of a stolen ITR. How is it in other European countries?

Here in Switzerland I've never heard of stolen ITRs...too many suckers who dislike Japanese cars and are convinced that only Euro cars are the best...

I hate that I have to drive the Volvo to the movies/dinner vs. the R.
But the Volvo has nice low end power... and is easy to drive around town... I leave it unlocked and have never had a problem.

they steal itr's in the U.S. because we have so many civics, integras, and crx's that are slow and look for an easy swap. put a b18c5 in a civic hatch and ur doing 13's already. this is why they steal them so frequently and if u live especially where i live (nj/ny area) then u are a target.. i have a question? how much do itr's go for in europe. my godfather in portugal promised me when i go to portugal that he'll buy me a car.. he's rich so i could take advantage of the situation..
they r overated here (portugal) u can sell a 98R in mint condition for hmmmm 23-24k.
When r u coming to portugal? Its hard to buy an itr here since there are around 160 in the whole country.

Not too purposely bring up this argument again, but maybe your theft issues are less because the "swap" market is not as prolific as in the United States?? Are there many Civic's with Integra motors in Europe?... even before I ask that question I need to ask the following... Are there many Civics in Europe?
I know when I visit Europe for work, I don't see many Honda's on the road.
