Default Gsr, LS, RS Stock Side skirts vs TYPE R side skirts????

Ok iono bout u guys...but doesnt it seem like the type r sides are different from the other models? And im not talking bout the option Factory kit where it flares up a lil on the back side bottom panel. The regular side skirts for type R...It seems a little thinner to me or sumthing? If thats the case where can i get sum? I like how they look...Unless my eyes are screwing with me and they are the same..

K ima use sum of u guys car pics i found on HT so u mite see urs up!

iono they seem a bit different..

how many times must i explain this

ok here it goes.. one sec let me get pics form my http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com

the only thing different between the sideskirts on a integra is that

->> All Models cept Type R

<<- See how its a little shorter at the end

->> Type R

<<- see how it fits the car perfectly till the end

->> Oem Optional

<<- optional. nuff said.

edit: nothing goes up u might be thinking civic sideskirts.

your optional pic is wrong...

this is what they look like

they do, in fact, go up

however i wasn't aware that the type R sideskirts were any different from regular integras other than the fact that they are painted, whereas all other integras stock have black sideskirts. might be wrong, though, now that i look at a lot of pictures.

are you one hundred percent on this? Cause I've read many places on HT that the Acura standard factory side skirts on all integras (including itr) are the same, except for the paint. But if you are one hundred percent sure, then I've learned something new

what if it's not the side skirts that are different, but the rear wheel well (of whatever it's called)

this is another great integra mystery...i've heard both sides (theyre the same vs. itr's are slightly longer) so i don't know what to believe. someone needs to show some pics of the two side by side while theyre off the car

All Integra body panels are the same (doors, quarter panels, fenders, hoods, hatches, bumpers, etc) so yes, the ITR side skirts are about 1/2" longer.

I don't see a difference either with the OEM ones.

Look closer then, the difference is clearly visible on the right-most side of both these pics:

Can you not see the small gap at the end of the non-ITR skirt? It doesn't come all the way down flush w/ the edge of the fenderwell like ITR ones do.

Oops sorry.I meant the OEM optional one.

That black teg looks just like the other OEM optional skirt.
I can see the difference in lenght of the regular OEMs.

Alright. I have a set of OEM sideskirts from a LS sitting in my garage right now. When I get home I'll measure them with a tape. If anyone has some ITR side skirts on (or off) your car, measure them and we will finally settle this arguement.

haha does it really matter that we settle this argument over 1/2"? in any case, i've seen both. on my LS, the skirt ends before the rear panel. on the Type R my friend has, the skirt goes to the end and is in line with the rear panel. i haven't measured it but i've looked at both and if the panels are all the same, the skirts are different as said up there.
