I'm running 15inch wheels with 205/50r15 tires. Never run 16's before myself so I can't comment, but I like my combo now, feels very attached to the road, but too rough.

15's are the most common. Also the most cost effective.

I've got 15's w/ 205/50VR15 Kumho 712's on my 99Si. Good setup for cost, weight and performance. If you're going 16", go as light as you can afford. Rota is coming out w/ a 16" Slipstream sometime soon.

Though Rota was going out of business or being bought out or something.

I run 15" R toa C8's with Yokohama/Advan AO32R for autox/track and actually now for street too.
15" wheels save weight, cost less, and 15" tires cost less as well.
I was able to even sneak an ITR brake upgrade under these 15" wheels to make the most of the loot I saved! gotta love fastbrakes.

I had 15" on my ek hatch, they did look too small. I wish I had put 16". I had 15" on my eg hatch...they looked good plus tires were cheap 205/50.

16's are good for just riding around!! but if you plan to autox.....you might want to get a seperate set of wheels.....and not 16's!! Get some nice wheels for everyday, and save your stock wheels for autox. you can get race tires for fairly cheap on 14's!!

I have 16's and I love em......the do rub sometimes when the wheel is turned hard.
cause I have 205/50/16
