Default Having some problems with my clutch

My clutch recently started acting weird on my 99 Accord EX. It remains depressed even after I let go of it at first or reverse gear (it recently started doing thing on second gear as well). The clutch seems engaged because the car wants to pull forward (or reverse if in R) even without me hitting the gas. The shifter also gets locked. Btw, this only happens sometimes. Not always. What do you guys think the problem is?

check the clutch cable and maybe your throwout bearing is messed up. sounds to me like a cable problem maybe it is getting caught or hung up.check the cable.

99" accord don't have aclutch cable. You may have a bad slave or master cyl.'s. Check to see if there is fluid running doen the inside of your fire wall and also check the level of the fluid in the master cyl.

locked shifter + clutch has no/little pressure = bad or going clutch slave/master cylinder. first thing i did on my 96 ex was replace the clutch slave cylinder at 120k.

I've heard it's the release bearing from someone. Just thought I'd get a second opinion.

Check out the slave cylinder rod, where it pushes against the throw-out fork. You say it doesn't screw up all the time... When it's working good, measure the motion of the T-O-fork. Then measure it again when it's screwing up. If the motion & action of the fork is the same, then the problem must be inside.

I'm guessing it might be a bad master cylinder, that's easier to fix without removing the transmission. In that case the fork doesn't move right. Or else it moves then slowly comes back even while holding the pedal down.
