If you really have done a lot of reading on the RSx, you wouldn't have asked this. First it's up to you. Have you test drove one yet? Once you do you'll know if you want it or not. Mine is a daily driver I am modding as I go along for handeling and a bit for speed. It's fast enough for me as it is, but a little more go never hurt anyone.

My close friend has a turbo teg ls and it's hard to even compare the two. The K20 engine responds really well to simple bolt-ons too.

I've never looked back.

well with the 2002, expect the 2nd gear grind for one thing. And yes, the RSX has it's problems, all years have some sort of transmission issue. 2002 also had some funkiness with the sound system's subwoofer. check out clubrsx if you have not already, they are a fountain of knowledge with the RSX.

i have an 02 type s and i still love it. Only had griding problems when i first got it before i got use to the tranny, and even then they were few and far in between. No problems now. If u get an 02 try to get one with VIN after 33000 cuz thats when honda put in the single valve springs which are supposed to handle overreving.

own a 02 Type S shifts handles and drives like new!

60,000 miles on it...

modding it and loving it...

If you wanna base model RSX your better off buying a 5 speed 99-2000 Civic Si coupe...
