Hey there--
I'll admit I didn't even bother searching. I probably woudn't have turned up much.
I'm doing a bit of research for a chick friend of mine who wants to upgrade her 4-door 2002 Civic. What is the "default" setup that is common on the EP platform? I'm guessing a mild street setup, shocks/struts/springs, 1.5" drop.
I can't even turn up many pics--the appearance forum wasn't of much use.
Any info is welcome.

first check that the front struts are not leaking. if they are, take them to a dealer and have them replaced with stock ones. her car is prolly still under warrenty, so it wont cost anything if it is. if they're not leaking, LEAVE THEM. its not worth spending the extra money unless she's planning on racing a road course or something like that.
second, eibach is a great way to go. sportline lowering springs work great with them. they are relatively inexpensive and have a smooth ride.
lastly, camber correction kits. lowering the car will throw off the camber. buy the kits from ingalls and take them to the dealer, or your local shop, and have them installed and to have a 4-wheel alignment done. this part is vital or she'll be spending as much in tires as she will be in gas.
hope this helps you get on the right foot. lemme know if you have any other questions.
