I have a 89 1.5 STD Hatchback DPFI and the motor is pretty much toast. I was wanting to know if the motor in the link below will work. Thanks for the help!

should and swap over ur manifold and throttle body too

 

i dont see why it wouldnt fit, but.....seems kinda expensive if u end up paying the full 200 for shipping plus the 375 for the motor. for 600 bucks you can easily find a zc 1.6 single or dohc zc usually for around 500-550. just my 2 pennies

 

That motor would bolt right in. But if your going to spend that much for the motor plus shipping. I'd rather buy a sohc/dohc zc or d16z6. Plus these motor puts out more hp for eual or lesser value.

 

I emailed the guy and he said it 175.00 for shipping. I will check into the d16z6, how hard is it to install?
