I recently installed spoon calipers on my vehichle, and it has developed a rattle that happens when running over expansion cracks in the road or any other quick little bounce. I have removed the wheels and moved the pads in the calipers and it sounds like the noise.........I have tightened the tension springs on the pads but the sound persists..........from your experience am I on the right track or is this something I will have to live with??

The sound is from the brake pad floating inside the caliper. My suggestion is to bend the silver piece which holds the pad in the caliper then it will hold the brake pad tighter so the sound will go away.
