H&R race springs/ Tokico HP shocks...Good setup???
Hey guys...My little brother just installed H&R race springs with Tokico HP (blues) on his 95 GSR... Was wondering what you guys think of it... Only paid a little over $200 for it... (which i think is a good price) Good setup? Decent? Anyone else running with this setup? Any opinions? Let me know... Thanx !!!

it must be used if it is a little over 200
the hr race springs are race meaning they drop like a little over 2 inches which means the tokico hp can't really handle
i reccomend agx or illuma for race springs

the springs are used...the shocks are new....hmm... i guess he will need some new shocks in the near future... u said AGX? any certain model? Thanks...

i thought sport springs (2.25-2.5 drops) were the lowest drops that kyb agx's could handle? i called some shops and the company and most of them replied saying that any spring that drops lower than 2.5 will prematurely wear out the kyb agx's and even the koni yellows... not unless you get one customized to fit those drops for an extra price. plz some1 correct me if im wrong... cuz if i am id wanna go back to race springs on the kyb's =/

I have H&R springs on my car, but it came that way when i bought it used. The drop only seemed to be about 1 1/2 inches. Maybe Im wrong, but is this gonna wear out my stock shocks. Im just holding off until i can get a nice setup like Tein.

ok..i've been lookin at the same setup, or just gettin springs for a while till i can get some tein flex's. is that ok jus to get the springs?

i got H&R race springs and kyb agx gas shocks on my integ. the shocks dont have much room to do their thing. i dont really recommend race springs. get sports. the shocks are lovely.
