I've looked into this, too, but I couldnt figure out a way to lower them without shelling out for new sliders.

Now one thing that did occur to me was maybe there's an easier way to just make the BACK end of the seats (where your butt is) lowered some, which is better than nothing.

This is djvtoner

couldn't you just fabricate the stock bracket to lower the seat?? like cutting the bracket down...

hatch2k... you said that you would have to shell out for new sliders. Do they make sliders that are lower??? I didn't know they made such a thing

I mean custom sliders... There might be a slider out there for an aftermarket seat that happens to also work with the stock seat, but who knows... maybe rsx sliders?? EX sliders??

Custom brakets could help you. The DC5 brakets sit very high and in my DC5R book it explains that the DC5R seat rails sit very high and that they corrected the problem by fabricating new seat rails which made the seat lower by a 1.5 inch.

That thread only discusses using aftermarket recaro brackets which, if I had to guess, would not work with the stock seats.

It also talks about how it is possible to move the stock seat back an extra couple inches... but that is not lowering the seat at all
