Mini me question?

I have a d16y7 in a 97 hatch. I'm thinking about doing a mini me on it. Now does it matter what year the head is? or are the all compatible?

i'd use a d16y8 from a 96-00 civic EX...

The 92-95 ones will bolt on, but you will have issues with the distributor.
