Well when I pull the level on the driver side floor it comes up but the gas tank wont pop open! So its stuck shut until I pry it open... Anyone got any remedies I cant figure it out!

 

when you pull it up can you see anytype of wire or cord that it should be attached to but isn't?

 

yea best thing to do is remove that assembly and maybe the wire got disconnected

 

Remove the assembly on the floor what is it just a couple screws?

 

Remove the cover by your seat and check the cable and latch. If everything checks out head on to the hatch and pull back the lining and you'll see where the gas door is and where the cable is run. Worse comes to worse you'd need to replace the cable which isnt too bad. You can pop the door from inside the hatch if you need gas right away.

 

mine won't stay shut...keeps poppin open...i always feel like such a dumbass when i get out and see that its been floppin around the whole time i was drivin

 

wont stay shut... maybe some cable bindage or the prong that holds it in is bent.
