Default Differences between 5th and 6th gen accord?

im planning on getting a 6th gen soon, probably a 98-00 (cheaper) and i was wondering it there was many differences with the 5th gen (except for the body) like mechanical? suspension?handling? RUST PROBLEMS!?!?!?
thats exactly the reason why im getting rid of my 94 exr

Particularly the auto for the V6 sucks. Besides that I'm not too sure. You should get a manual either way.

Suspension is different, engine is different, dash is different....

What are you trying to ask:?

If it was the same, why would it be a 6 gen?

my accord's auto tranny has never had a problem, and i've been beating the crap out of it for 140,000 miles now. just don't anything stupid, like neutral drops, and do the regularly scheduled maintanence for it and you'll be fine.

i think the only thing that 5th and 6th gen accords share is brake rotors and same size speakers inside the car... other than that everything's different... that's why they are different generations...

this shouldn't be that surprising........

im not bashing ignorantly the accord trans.. ive just heard so many bad things about it, from a honda, its surprising..Its like all the problems encountered with the recent volkswagens..

Im just trying to find out anything i wouldnt know about that car, cuz ive got a 5th gen, and if it wouldnt be of all the rust, id keep it till it dies, its an awesome car.. I just want the same thing out of the 6th gen, without the rusty cancer problem..
