i just put mine in today, ordered from street beat customs for 80 bucks 3 day shipping. its sweet as hell! fully adjustable front back side to side haha height.....and adjustable throw.

yeh its a short shifter, and it works good as ****. its just dif, cuz you can tilt it however you want it. sideways toward you and back toward the trunk or wheatever.

 

carpet might need a little attention.

what motor setup are you running?

 

looks weird but i would go with the traditional short shifter.

cuz everything in my car is messed up, the passenger seat is broken, the carpet is allll messed up, and i already dont have any door panels or rear interior. SO im starting from scratch.

and im runnin a d16a6 w/ just intake header and exhaust. not much but its quick for what it is. then after im done w/ the body and interior im going to turbo it.

 

looks different, kinda like you made it with an erector set (sp?).

But if it works well than thats all that matters.

 

haha thats what one of my friends said about the erector set. i put it this morning so its all the way low and a little tilted back and its great. the stock boot doesnt really fit on it too well becuase the ring gets stuck on where the shifter gets thick.

 

Is that a old moldy twinkie in front of the shifter.. And whats the website for place that sells the shifter?

 

seems very adjustable in more than one way too. does the boot cover not fit anymore? will it cover most of it?

theres the site. the boot is too short for it, maybe if you took out the plastic ring it would fit, ill try that later.

my local honda dealership had those in stock with the same selling price on the link given. it looked pretty sweet.

 

i think its ok, the adjusting fuctions are cool. but design looks like it can use some improvements. i could imagine the joints slipping and you busting a knuckle from aggressive shifting.
