Yeah, I've seen a couple type-r's on ebay. If you really want to know the cost ti ship one from Japan, then you can't afford it.

 

Are you talking about the one that is supposedly coming to the states?

 

I know how to get it to California. You usually have to know someone that has a connection over there, and that has access to someone down at the docks. My friend Kieth got a stock RHD EG Hatch (from these guys we know) here for $8,000 cash. He then sold it for $15,000 still stock. Goodluck bro.

 

yeah... you can probably get a civic from somewhere like singapore, where the market isnt that demanding, for like 5 grand, but you'll pay over 10 grand trying to get the car through customs and making it both smog and d.o.t legal as far as lights and reflectors go, which kind of defeats the purpose, believe me i tried, its too good to be true...
