i installed one on my friends 4th gen about 2 weeks ago and overall it was pretty simple, the only thing that made it hard for us is that he has no garage so we had a tarp over the car becasue it started to rain in the middle of the install. it was the 1st time i had put one in and it took about 2-3 hours....dont remember exactly and if you bought it new, it should have come w/ instructions, but if not i dont know where to get a diagram from...probably apexi's web site

shouldnt it be like installing the first one?...if so it was very easy...i would assume they didnt change much other than maybe some features and design of the head unit

from what i understand the vafc2's manual doesn;t have the wiring diagrams in the user manual. It is a seperate manual with the wiring diagrams. If you are buying it new then don't worry about it. If you are getting a used one make sure you get the wiring instructions.

The install is easy if you are familar with electrical work ( cutting, splicing, soldering, etc. )

If you don't want to hack up your stock ecu wiring you may want to send sales@marcuccimotorsports.com an email and inquire about his plug and play vafc harnesses. Basically its plugs into wiring harness and ecu and the wiring for the vafc is already set up, You just plug the vafc in.
