Just got my 5zigen muffler on my hatch, i pulled it off a genuine jdm rhd ef9
As some of u know i only got it for $50
I rolled up to Palmdale,Cali to my 1 and only custom piping shop Eastside muffler. I got 2.25 piping w/ a high flow cat, which is suitable 4 my DOHC ZC. I luv how it sounds, real quiet
Let me know what u guys think. TIA

I live on hill (**** hills
) so it kind of looks slanted

Thanks alot, I know it looks crooked, but its really perfect
I was soo scared that i wasnt gonna like it mounted or how it sounds, since i was originaly looking 4 the HKS dual tip. Also since i dont anyone with this muffler
It would have sucked if i wasnt pleased.

That doesn't mean anything.
The muffler would still be parallel with the body of your car, which it is not.
It's mounted crooked!!! You're probably using a rubber hanger that's too long.

So what? What does being on a hill have to do with anything?
Your muffler is crooked....no matter what angle the car is parked at, the muffler will be parallel with the body of the car! And it's not...which means it's crooked!!

The left side of the muffler (the can under the car) is showing more than the other side.
It's lower than the right side. It's not hung right and really looks (and most likely is) crooked.

first off...that style muffler, basically like on all ef's is just so sick, i hate the normal looking exhaust where u cannot see the muffler.
second...sick find!
third..i never seen a axle back muffler on a crx or hatch 100% straight...they always have a slight bit of 'crooked-ness'....
last....i was thinking of going to get a custom exhaust to go with my muffler, since i need a new cat anyways amd yet to have bigger then normal size piping..
* just wondering how much did it cost to have the full-cat made?
i always heard that crxs need 'back pressure' so they need the oem size mid pipe?

yea, I got it from EggMan. It was $340 shipped, not bad for half way across the U.S. I have a 90 Si hatch w/ a built B20 vtec. Still in the process of building it tho, so it woln't be out for at least a month. There will be a HUGE photoshoot and probably a video as well, don't worry you woln't miss it.
