so i bought a motor from chris during the last week of june. sent him a MO, and he promptly shipped the block

FYI it was a good deal

RS sleeved LS block, new oil and water pumps, 84 bore 13:1 weiscos, eagle rods, GE oil sandwich for lsvtec, headgasket, and arp headstudsand i think thats it.
he was missing a piece to the GE adapter (a fitting) but he found it shortly after he shipped the block. granted he didnt have the GE adapter listed as coming with the block, but before i paid, he said he would include it in the price.

the things above in bold he did not ship and still has not shipped.

he says that he works and has school, but i work 65 hour weeks, and i can still get things done. so his comment to that is that it is not important to him, and anyone else who got that deal wouldnt even be complaining and theyd just forget about those things.
well i dont think thats true because i want what i paid for, and he seems as if he doesnt want to give it to me, i have done business on here for 2+ years now and have sold and bought from over 150people in that time, and im sure he has a good rep too, so im not trying to ruin anything, i just want my parts.

my philosophy is, that if you dont like a deal, dont make one, but if you do, then you need to follow through with it.

this was my last resort H-T as i am going back to college soon.

UPDATE: as of 12/23/04 he has been banned recently, and all of his friends from his message board allmotor.net have star6ted a new trend of coming onto all my threads and harrassing me and calling me a scammer, lol.
anyways, long story short. i WILL report you to moderators who have already deleted, locked, docked, and banned people as a result of their behavior on my threads. fair warning.

before the ban, chris lied to a moderator and said he shipped the headstuds in about october or so. he didnt of course and then comes out wit the excuse that theywere stripped anyways. i didnt know this until after he told me he was oing to ship them.

i was willing to give him an awesome vouch but he seems to feel it unnecessarry to send me everything i paid for.

Damn, I've been reading like five different threads today about scammers and potential scammers. I see Chris post all the time. And now I KNOW and knowing is part of the battle.

I made a deal with you, then you started being insanely rude to me. Acting like I owed you parts that I said I would be nice and "throw in" (this was like RIGHT after I sent you the block) such as the head fitting and the Full-Race VTEC dowels, Im sorry, but when someone gives you an inch, dont try to get the mile, that wont get you ****. Use this as a learning experience. The street goes both ways.

Cliffs: Guy buy 4500$ block from me for 1900 SHIPPED, I said I would throw in parts for the hell of it (since I didnt need them), guy starts demanding said parts acting like they were included in the deal. Chris says **** off to rude buyer. :endofstory:

when I said I had this stuff layin around (that I was gonna sell), he started askin for it, and I simply replied "sure, if I find it" (cause I wasnt sure of the whereabouts), then from that point on, he started like DEMANDING these parts from me, so he can simply **** off if he wants to be like that. Beggers cant be choosers.

Anyways, this thread is drama, bump and reply it all you want, im glad im done selling all my parts. Sick of dealing with these baby/inexperianced buyers. Only a moron would re-use a headgasket on a 13:1 motor. You got what you paid for, and then some.

from what I understand chris said he'd throw in that extra stuff if he could find it in time to ship it. It wasn't guaranteed as part of the deal or what was advertised to come with it. The block and pistons are worth WELL over what the guy paid, so him getting all butt-hurt that chris couldn't find the other stuff in time to ship it really doesn't have me crying a river for him. The stuff chris shipped him is worth easily TWICE as much as what he paid for it, and as someone who knows chris personally in real life, I can tell you that he never even drove the car with those parts. They were practically brand new.

no the headstuds and the fitting are 100% needed. you cant have a running motor without headstuds. they wee part of the deal, not a "throw-in"

not really, where on there does it say anything about a golden eagle LS vtec oil line kit? (which he received) I honestly was gonna send him the studs, until he started demanding parts that I didnt OWE him (like the head fitting, and the vtec dowels).and I honestly advised AGAINST using the headgasket cause reusing headgaskets is like reusing condoms. Anyways, call me dishonest all you want, but when someone throws in extras, dont start demanding them like I owed you them in the first place, dosent make me want to send you anything.

i never acted like you owed me the dowels, i simply said itd be great if you could send them to me, thatd be really nice and id vouch really big for you.

I personally know hybridvteceg, and I believe the way he talks to people online can be misinterrepated as being “rude”. However you have to understand that he is very serious about what he does and doesn’t want to beat around the bush. He is very perfossonal and doesn’t have time to dick around.

He simple wants the parts he paid for and you agreed to give him. Simple as that. But if you are offended by his tone you should at least send the parts listed in your for sale thread.

haha, you think a guy who demands freebies from someone is gonna send back parts? fat chance. That GE kit is worth more than some headstuds...the headstuds dont even have bolts with them, so even if he does get the headstuds, he will need to buy bolts...derek (hybrid) is a cheap ***, and pretty rude when it came to the whole transaction...almost calling me a scammer right off the bat, so I made 2 vouch threads for him, which both proved that I was not a scammer, then after he got done lowballing the **** outta me, we settled on like 400+$ cheaper than I actually wanted, and I even paid for shipping (200$)...so **** that, he can keep the oil line kit, and spend the money he woulda spent on another oil line kit on some headstuds.

 

oh well it was worth a shot... I HOPE that post gets get deleted, I'd be pissed if someone posted my info on the internet. :Shakes Head:

 

i am pissed that he didnt send me my stuff. this couldve all been avoided.
