arent the spoon mirrors just black plastic with an ordinary mirror ??? i'd just keep the white theme going but paint the stock grill back to white.

yes its just black plastic but it looks a lot better than my stock mirrors...and yes, i'm gonna get the grille back to white...i'm just collecting some other parts so that when leave it at my friends shop, he can do everything in one shot...But damn, the spoon mirrors would look pretty crazy...something different, you know??

 

I always preferred the Bomex mirrors myself, but never knew if any of them would fit easily. I also don't have the time/money right now to try it out, and would rather spend my money elsewhere, but here's what I'm talking about:

 

spoon doesn't make mirrors for a da. but the mirrors from a 94 4 door are the same. a friend of mine found some mirrrors that were like spoon ones. they dont make them anymore though plus he sold them. and i think you should keep your grill black though

is it just me or does the spoon mirrors allways like 2x's smaller than they should be for that size car?

 

systemGSR, no its not you...they really are smaller. My friend has them on his DC2 and they are tiny and its hard to see from them sometimes...Its takes a while to get used to them..But hey, I'm a slave to fashion...hehe.

Spoon mirrors.........

They are worse than stock mirrors in every respect except lighter. We dont have to squeeze into tiny parking spots here, pointless, and they look really cheap on cars, look like an unpainted dealer option.

 

THere was a thread in the itr forum where everyone complained about the rubber on the glass falling apart on the spoon mirrors.
