First off, if you are worried about how the intake will SOUND, then this is the wrong forum for you. Go try out SuperHonda.com

Second, go with the cheapest cold air intake you can find that uses 3" piping. Aside from the filter, they're all mostly the same.

I have the regular AEM CAI and I love it. I notice a difference - especially - at higher rpms. As far as the way they sound, it doesn't have the normal growl that most people associate with CAIs from the inside, but you can hear it from the outside. Also, they get really loud after you hit VTEC. But I agree with everyone else that if you're not worried about warranty issues like I was (hey, at least they let me keep the warranty), there's no need to spend that much money on the intake. Just make sure you have a good filter and that you clean it every once in a while.

I have had both an AEM CAI and an Ebay CAI before. To tell you the truth, the Ebay CAI works just as well at a fraction of the cost. I would suspect that any old ceramic coated pipe with a K&N filter would work.

The ebay intakes work just as well, really the only difference between the two is the AEM intake is coated, which does nothing. As for filters, they are all the same pretty much
