Default anyone with good/bad experiences with quick release hubs for the steering wheel?

any of you guys know of anyone that still had their car stolen even though they had the steering wheel taken off with the quick release hub? any positive/negative experiences with the quick release? is it worth the investment? or

It's worth it to me. I have a NRG release and I know it makes it harder to steal and it helps slow down the jacking process.But if they want it that bad, they will get it. I like the NRG 'cus it has no play at all.

i have the tekniq quick release street system with a momo wheel, definetly worth every penny and no play wats so ever. the kewl thing bout the tekniq system is every system is a different configuration.

probably not, the nrg system runs off ball bearings...so i take it anyone with a nrg system can interchange..just speculatin tho...

some one stole my car with the steering wheel sill in it. it somehow came disconnected while they were entering a freeway. so my car got some air of the on-ramp then died

good thing you werent driving when "it somehow came disconnected". you and your car would have been assed out! what brand quick release did you have?

heres a good one.... my friend was driving down the highway and pulled his steering wheel off for fun, hung it out the window and accidentally dropped it.... and then (fill ending in here)

I thought you couldn't use a quick release with a steering wheel that had an airbag!!!The guy I tried to buy it from said that no quick release will work with a airbag steerring wheel...
