Default 92-95 DOHC ZC question

are all 92-95 DOHC ZC engines OBD1? there are no exceptions right?

probably a dumb question but, what the hell, i don't know anything ^_^

if it is a 92-95 engine the yes it should be obd-1.

- '91 and older Honda engines use a pre-OBD system.

- '92-95 Honda engines use the OBD-1 system.

- '96 and newer Honda engines use the OBD-2 system.

This is true in almost all cases, except where manufacture date is confused with model year or something.

ok, well is there a stamp or something on the motor that i can verify that it is, indeed, the correct gen motor?

pre-obd (obd0) dohc zc's have a big cam position sensor on the exhaust cam next to the distributor

obd1 dohc zc's DON'T have a big cam position sensor on the exhuast cam

-also-

obd0 zc's have clear plugs for the distributor

obd1 zc's have grey plugs for the distributor
