Default Speaker/Watts??? - 2004 Accord Sedan EX-L

Does anyone know what the speaker sizes and watts per speaker are for the 2004 Accord Sedan EX-L?

Also, is there anyway to change out the head unit? b/c the heating and air are controlled through it, is it even possible to change it out?

Thanks,

Dale

if you go to the Honda Website and look at the specifications for 2004 honda accord sedan, it should say somewhere there...just scroll down and look ...i think for my 2003 accord, the watts are 120 and speakers are 6x9's pioneers......not too bad

I'm looking for the watts per speaker and the size. The Honda website does not tell you that. I think your right about the size though, 6 x 9 - but what about the rear?

6.5s in front... 6x9s in the rear.

the 120 watts you are referring to is the max power of the deck, not speakers. the speakers are more like 20 watts each.

i'm going to assume you have the autoclimate control, which means you have only one option. there are kits that mount an aftermarket deck in place of the storage compartment that's below the a/c controls. the factory deck does not get removed, and will still have power, but not sound. so far this is about the only way to add an aftermarket deck.
