Default Hondata?

?I know this has probaly been coverd before. But this should be quick and easy for some people.

What does it mean if a P28 ECU is socketed and setup for use with Hondata?
Does it mean that it is halfway setup for a hondata program but is still stock and ready to run?
Or is it a dead ecu until a program is installed?

Should i even go with hondata with, "lsvtec allmotor"

Default Re: Hondata? (aziz93)

it means that someone has done all the coldering and whatnot to the ecu. all you would need is to drop in a hondata chip and connect the hondata to the ecu and its ready to go. as far as if you need it it would depend. theres lots of things you can do with hondata but depending on your needs a chip just by itself might suffice.
