Sunroof advice
I spent entire Sunday trying to fix my rustry sunroof panel. It does not leak or anything. It's just rusty inside and pieces of rust falling on my head off the edges all the time. There are also visible holes on the top and they bother me most considering that the rest of my 91 CRX Si is rust-free.
First, I was covering the top with a duct tape (wahat a stupid idea). I had to spend hours removing the glue and the residue. Now the entire top is a mess.
I finally took the panel out, cleaned it up but was unable to get inside to remove the loose rust. So I tried to seal the edges and the holes with a gasket maker but it doesn't look good at all. I have a body repiar kit but I thought it's inappropriate for such a small application.
Any suggestions?
