Default Need a little help.

One of my friends owns a 92 Prelude Si. It is a 5 speed manual with 160,000. He wants to be able to hang with the RSX in our town. It is a 2003 type S with a 50 shot. My question is what is the easiest and cheapest way to do this and keep the car reliable?

He just picked up a Cold Air Intake from eBay the other day.

nitrous then. Do a compression and leakdown test first to see if the motor is still strong enough first though.

Turbo? I am not a Honda person. What kind? Where to get it at? How reliable? My friend was talking about some kind of JDM h22 swap? What about that?

JDM h22 swap alone will not keep up with the k20a2 with 50shot. Turbo kit with that motor should yield good results. I suggest custom or Greddy for that area and tune it with Hondata or AEM EMS.

Can someone go into a little more detail. My friend isn't going to spend a lot, he is cheap as hell.

Then he had better get used to seeing the back end of that RSX.

Turbo is your best choice, and cheap is never reliable.

Well what shot of nitrous would he have to have to keep up? He will have all bolts ons.

100 shot, maybe 150.
