Default The stock LSD, what type?

What type of differential is in the R? Is it a clutch type or a gear type? Does it have to be rebuilt?

Good thing. The last I heard, gear type diffs don't need to be rebuilt under "normal" driving conditions.

It should last indefinately, unless it doesn't. But you'd probably know if something went amiss.
