help, car wont start! fuel flooding engine?
ok, i had the turbo for a week than the head gasket went, (overheating, ect..) so this weekend i pull the head off put in new arp studs, head gasket, and valve cover gasket. buttoned everything back up compression test came out 125psi on each cylinder. now it wont start and after rechecking everything and alot of head scratching it seems that the engine is flooding with fuel. i pulled the plugs and they where pretty well soaked, so i cleaned them up and put em back in. rechecked the afc settings (running the hack) everything was as itshould be
(mysetings go from 1000-8000rpm's and range from -40% to -35%) i put the plugs back in and disconected th injectors to try an burn up the extra fuel, it actualy almost started. hooked it back up again and tried to turn it over it almosed did on the first 2 cranks but thats it. so i still cant get it to turn over and im leaning towards it being an issue with the spark, but i need some input. has this happened to anyone else? please help!
