Default headlight/housing problem? any ideas - please help

alright, i ran naxos xenon blues for about a year and a half -- good life. then one day my right headlight burnt out. okay - about time i said. i went to take the bulb out and it had completely exploded - and i assume the went into the housing because there was no glass anywhere. anyway i went along my merry way and bought new blues and replaced the one. okay so then with the new naxos in the right it was no where near the color of the other, and a hell of a lot less bright. so i was bemused. then that blew out after about 2 weeks -- didnt explode just burnt out. i then proceeded to burn out two more bulbs, strictly on the right side within 3 weeks.

also, the filiment in the bulbs that burnt out after had not been broken.
also, i tried the bulbs in the left side of the car first and they looked perfect, then on right side dull, then burnt out.

SO!! (thanks for reading this far)
what do you guys think could be causing my bulbs to be dull and die in the right side? the glass in the housing (maybe)? how do i get the housing out and check it out? since the filiment isnt noticably broken i dont know....oh well. tia.

see i thought about that - but i have an upgraded wiring harness, and this problem started before that, and i fried the harness, wouldnt the lights just not work at all - not for a few weeks and then burn, and why would the lights burn if the harness sucked?

Are you making sure to NOT touch the glass when installing the new bulbs? The oil from your fingers will greatly reduce life and could also cause the bulb to explode.

hey i have the same problem too sorta.
i had just regular bulbs in and the one on the left exploded on me and i put in a new bulb and ever since it doesnt seem as bright as is should be. i got a high powered vacuum and sucked the broken glass out of the housing but it still isnt as bright as it was. i dont have the problem of bulbs burning out though. i am going to take the housing out and see if there is still something in there. sorry i cant help you out.

to take housing out.
remove front bumper.
then unscrew headlights (4 bolts, 10mm)
