3. Hurrell (B18C5) ~175 whp
4. Blankenship (B17A(?)) ~172 whp
5. Toda Civic (B16A2) ~151 whp
6. NAB20C5 (B20C5) 186.x whp 139 lb.ft
7. Pyromaster (B18C5) ~165 whp

9. Kengs (B16A2) ~143 whp
10. William (B18C5) 187.x (highest whp of the day

Thanks to Sean for putting it all together
Thanks to Kenny (BlackR) for the free ticket @ Andretti, even though I got CLOBBERED by these young guns...even got red flagged
Nice numbers. Good to see blankenship put out some good numbers. Is he on this board now? I wish I could have came over there but with no liscence its a little hard. What were the lap times at Andretti, I used to go all the time during the summer and got fairly good.
Ryan,
Kenny was fastest, avg. lap time was 33.30, fast lap was 32.19
Eric (NAB20C5) had the next fastest lap @ 33.05, but his avg. times were inflated cause he got red-flagged
I was slowest, avg. lap time was 38.64(!), fast lap was 34.55
My times were inflated because:
1) I crashed into the retaining barrier and got stuck, on lap 1, 53.65 secs(!)
2) I got red-flagged too, on lap 9, 49.45 secs.
I was definitely the old man out there
Still, I had a blast!

Ok, how hardcore are we?
lol
We have a dyno meet, then eat at h00ters (damn Eric, we didn't get the digits! Has Dr. Evil stolen our MOJO or what?), then dyno and hang out some more, then on to some drifting/ bump and go racing at Andretti Sped Lab, then eat again (George is a bottomless pit!), then on to some local street racing (hush, hush), and now I'm sitting here at the high-speed internet connection at the Pink Pony (just wanted to drop by and see how my ladies are doing...
). And what do I find? You guys already have a thread going! WTF? I'm surprised you don't have streaming video and a shitload of pics up!
My response:
.....as usual.
Seriously though, I must've gotten a fast kart this time.
Damn, William put out 187 whp with the jun 3's?
Register and start posting man! We need your expertise!
Umm, let me give special thanks and shouts out to Jack (b18cxR), sgT, Lip, greg (vtec4gs), and Jeff (ImportReview). I was able to extract ~10whp out of my setup by tuning according to their instructions/ suggestions.
(Actually I'd like to post a whole page of
for these guys, but I know how some of you hate that.) Newbies, listen up! If you really want the answer to the questions you are posting, just go back and do a search and read everything these guys have ever posted. I went from ~175 whp at my last dyno session (with Jack's safe settings) all the way to 185.7whp/ 128.2tq!
And with the stock catback in place!
Oh yes, we have to give a HUGE thanks to Sean (Cosworth) for organizing another KICK *** event!!! As always, his planning and dedication made this one happen. This is successful meet #2of 2 for Sean, and we can all look forward to many more!
Sean!
And last, but not least: THANK YOU ARTHUR @ DYNOLAB!
This dyno place kicks *** over any other I've been to! The nicest, coolest guy owns this place and does it because it's his dream! Think about that!
Everyone in the southeast: visit this dyno place for all your tuning needs!
Wideband o2, graphed against the rpm's for easy tuning! And Arthur seriously hooked it up! I paid $125 for 1 hour of dyno time with wideband o2... I got closer to 2 hours, and nothing but the nicest ******* dyno guy/ shop owner I've ever met! Every single one of us got glossy photo quality printouts of our dyno's and car pics!
He even gave us a bunch of free passes to Andretti Speed Lab!!! Un-*******-real!!! When was the last time your local dyno shop did that for you? And none of us had ever even been there before! So it's not like we had some friends at the shop who hooked it up.
to you Arthur. I hope I can combine my dream and my career like you are.
Check it out: www.dynolab.net.
Our dyno plots and stuff should be up in a few days, so everybody check it out and you'll be able to see all the correct numbers!
Ok, I'm done. Time to pick out the girl I want for tonight... Well for 5 minutes...
THANK YOU ALL!

Congrats to all of you. Nice numbers. Hurrell had asked me to come up, but I had to work. I saw him afterwards though, and he said y'all had a good time. Wish I could have made it.
Anyone planning on doing this agin anytime soon? I need to get my car tuned bad!!!

Damn Kenny, you chilling with the ladies? Post some pics.
I take it that you got in touch with Dan? Cuz, I remember GerogeY (what a name... j/k.) being underage.

You damn right... I should've put some octane boosters in my kart.
"<u>Damn, William put out 187 whp with the jun 3's?

Before everyone jump's at how low the numbers are for jun 3's... his car is completely untuned. He is just running off of yoshio programed ecu. His a:f setting have never been touched, his cam setting at 0 in, 0 ex and his vtec x-over never messed with. Should be an easy 200+ hp with one tuning session and much, much more with some time on the dyno. William, now REGISTER!

It was great to see Ken step it up and decide to learn the process step-by-step. Being his first time tuning the car, 10hp with just a:f tuning was pretty damn good.

Amen to that. Arthur serious took him time to help us with the dyno and tuning session.

[QUOTE]Seriously though, I must've gotten a fast kart this time.

The key to getting a fast one is finding the one with the least slack in the throttle cable. thats the only difference and can make a 1 or 2 second difference. Thats one trick i found out from racing there a lot.

Good seeing you Eric! Its been a while. Sorry i couldnt hang out later with you guys at Andrettis but funds werent seenin it. Plus i was very tired and had plans with my lady.
