Wussup hybrid ppl, well i have a 92 civic dx (automatic). I know i need motor mounts for the eg. Now i need to know if i need an auto to manual mount???

Trust me im no noob, i searched and no topics. Sure there are a **** load of h22 eg topics i've looked, but are there any auto to manual eg h22 topics?!?!!? Now my question is

DO I NEED AN AUTO TO MANUAL MOUNT FOR MY EG to SWAP IN AN H22 being THAT MY CAR IS AUTOMATIC.

To make it short & sweet, you're going to need to cut off the existing framerail bracket and weld in a new 5-spd framerail bracket (if you use the HCP mounts), otherwise leave it off for the Hasport mounts. If you try to make an auto-manual mount for the H22, it won't really work because the arm will be in the way of the shifter assembly and when you go into 1st gear, it'll hit that arm each time.

so for the hasport mounts i dont need to weld off/on anything?

 

cut off only and at least smooth up...im workin on the same swap soon gettin the same info right now....
