I went to start my car, and the car turned on, then it turned off.... I checked the battery, its fine. Its not gettin a spark, so we checked the coil, and the ignition control moduler, we Omed it and everything, and its fine.... the distributor cap was a little corroded, so i got a new one... still nothing........

Anybody know what could be wrong...

plugs? wires?

 

we checked the plugs, and wires, its just not gettin the juice to them, we used a timing light thing

 

the engine turns over

 

my bad, forget the last thing i said, but im not sure what it was, at first i thought it was fuel related, cause i didnt smell any fuel, and the one time it didnt start, the guy before me who had the car, had air in the gas cap, but i checked under the seat for the fuel pump, and u can hear it make a noise like its supposed to

 

so i dont really have an idea of what it might be

 

feul filter ?

 

pull off the valve cover and check the timming belt

 

it was the ignition coil.......
