Yeah,I think the NSX-R would have stayed in 2nd if it didn't overheat.

Yeah all 280ps of it!!! Compared to the Lambos with their over 500ps it held its own. Especially in the fun stuff of the circuit. Honda really needs to drop the next NSX with at least 375 and hopefully they will bring the rumored 450ps beast out. If it had just a bit more power, it never would of been close. The Lambos just ate the straights up.

I can't help but think that an Esprit-tuned NSX would walk away from those Lambos.

I saw the previous dream battle clip where it battles it out with the F50 and GT2 and was amazed, this is even better.

That rumor has been officially dispelled by Honda. Some idiot magazines probably heard that the next NSX will not be the HSC so they erroneously assumed that the next NSX was scrapped altogether.

I'm with Lance on this one - it seems just about too good to be true... kind of similar to the NSX-R walking the C6 Vette staight line in the TopGear video... (21MB)

We all know the NSX-R did the ring in 7"56"000 but it seems the Lambo runs faster than that...

It sounds kind of like the NSX-R driver over revved a little at around 7:07 in the video. Did anyone else hear that? Maybe that's why it over heated.

Anyway, nice video.
