Good trade or not?
Ok, here's the deal, I have a 90 hatch which I have been building for the past 2 years. A friend just purchased a 90 CRX HF w/ an H22 swap. He wants to trade, because he believes he will kill himself in it. The specs of both cars are below.
-Mine- (90 DX)
B18a1 swap, Si wiring harness, generic uerothane mounts, hasport linkage, short ram, hi flow cat, 2 1/2" piping to an N1 look-a-like muffler, WW Body kit, 95 GSR rims, aerospeed 2 1/4" springs, kyb gr-2 struts, all new front brakes w/ integra hubs, smoked corners and bumper lenses, momo champion steering wheel, 98 integra center console, autometer monster tach w/ recall, custom flat enclosure in back, front and rear strut bars, rear tie down bar, GSR radiator and fan
-His- (90 HF)
H22a swap, new crossmembers, uerothane mounts, hydro clutch swap, 2 1/2" piping to flowmaster muffler, cold air intake, full gsr suspension w/ coilovers
The only problem with his car is that it needs a new computer. The car looks bone stock, because the coilovers are raised all the way up.
Both cars are primered black. I've heard good and bad things about h22a's in ef's. I was wondering if this would be a good trade? Or if the ls is worth building itself? Thanks.
Btw, pics of my car are in my signature link.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I love my motor, but I'm looking at a lot more power here. His car has been dyno'd at 200 to the wheel (with slips to prove it). I'm going to take a look at the car tomorrow. My only question is reliability. I know my LS motor is reliable as hell, and can take a beating, I'm not too familiar to the h22.

What is all done to his motor?

I haven't seen it to actually know, that's why I'm going tomorrow to look at it. The main thing here is, I've been looking for a crx for the past couple months, and now one has come into my grasp, but I've got so much sedimental value with my car. It's just a hard *** decision.
h22's in CRX's Tend to snap axles ALOT! If he is running stock ones I suggest you upgrade if you plan on running it alot. h22 in my mind is the better motor to have in the rex to build up. Just my opinion. On the other hand I love my b18c1
what do u mean they tend to snap axles ALOT?
H22 -> EF is practically brand new. Not to many people have them and Haposrt is just getting around to releasing a kit this year.
A sponsor is having some super sale on gator racing axles here and they have a lifetime warranty so if you believe axle boy its a cheap investment
I would defientely do it though, and for 200whp n/a in a little crx, do you know how much ******* fun it would be? I can defientely see the fear of death.
Im scared of my car and all Ive got so far is a small shot of nitrous which wil be turning into a 150 shot as soon as I get my head
Good luck, weigh out pros and cons
Look for the little details that add up

Yep, I used to have a dual point, and did the MPFI swap (cutting wires, etc.). But I wanted this next swap to be a lot cleaner, so I swapped harnesses. (One big pain in the ***.) Be prepared to have a lot of spare time, a lot of patience, and a LOT of alcohol. The last part comes in handy a lot. I re-wired the hatch drunk off my ***, and everything works perfectly. Hey, maybe alcohol and cars really do mix.

Seems to me you dont want to get rid of it, people always say stick with ur 1st opinon! I think its a god deal but i would take some things off if u swap like the wheels and or sterring wheel. Will be fast, and ive heard of axles breaking but u get a lifetime waranty then ur good
if u keep ur ls motor then simply turbo it
