distributor problems on my ef HELP!!!

hey I have a small problem with my ef, for some reason it keeps on burning the distributor,I have no idea why this keeps on happening, please tell me what could be causing this, how can I fix it?

well the car runs good but after a couple of months the distributer goes bad, this happens over and over ,I even put A brand new distributer, my car is a 89 LX Sedan
