Default 92-95 Civic Radiator in 89 civic Hb

Hello,

Has anyone done this firsthand, or have info/pics on it. I have a 92-95 fluidyne, with a fal fan that I am putting into my 89 hatch. I have a knock off avid traction bar/front x member. I have ideas on how to make this go, but i know its been done before and wouldnt mind seeing some more info/pics on it. If ya have any personal exp with this that would be the best! Thanks!

You can make it go by just doing the new front x member (traction bar) and from what ive seen is the lower radiator supports welded to the new x member and a new upper support was made (kinda looked like a long Z). I have a turbo manifold that needs a 3" manderal bent downpipe to come off it, and It's going to be a tight fit with the radiator in there. I was just curious to see if anyone else has done n e thing different than the method above. I have seen the alot of the front supports chopped out, and was wonder how much of a slant/degree of tilt I could get away with.

Heres a front shot, notice where the right side of the radiator comes out to the left side of the exhaust manifold...

Heres a side shot of the tilt, and notice the room left from the exhaust manifold out to the radiator....

Now heres mine, I need a 3 inch down pipe to come off the turbo towards the radiator... It's gonna be tight!

Thats what I have on it....
