Default Radiator support needed for a 99+ Front Conversion?

Hey guys, just wondering what parts i need to do a complete 99+ front end conversion. So far i know that i need the hood, L/R fenders, bumper, Headlights. Do i need the radiator support from a 99-00 if i'm putting it on a 97? Thanks! How much do you think it'll total out to be also?

i tried this on a customers car. Everything lined up perfectly except the bumper. It was hitting something and wouldn't line up. I think you need the reinforcement, or some sort of modification. Anybody else have a definate answer?

I couldn't get it to work.

I have heard from a couple of people that have done the conversion that it is a direct bolt on but I didn't witness the switch so I can't say for sure. I do know that you don't need the radiator sapport!

you dont have to change the radiator support, i have a 00 front end on my 96
all you need is the headlights, bumper, fenders, grill, and hood. everything will bolt up to the 96 fine except for the two outer top clips that hold the bumper to the radiator support. all you do is bend the two brackes down on both side so that they are out of the way. Youll see what i mean once you take off the bumper. there will still be like 4 plastic clips that will be holding the top of the bumper on, makes no difference that the two side ones are missing. HTH

Well I too am doing this conversion. I have a 96 civic 4dr going to the 99 front end w/si lip. So far i only have the fenders and the front bumper. I noticed that the fenders lined up but i did notice that the two inner screws or bolts that hold the bumper on (usally 4 hold it, im talking bout the ones in the middle) dont line up to the holes, also there is a little lip on each side of those brackets (on the inner side) that doesnt let the bumper slide on but that im pretty sure you can just bend back and drill new holes, also the grill seems to be alot bigger. i will get my lights today so hopefully they fit snugly. and if that works then all i need now is to replace my 96 cf hood to a 99 and bada-bing bada-boom!! Does anyone know how much I can get the canada acura 1.6 I think its called the donali conversions besides Importfan.com?? how much does VIS sell theres for?? Im talking bout the one for the back on a 4dr civic. thnx

Vis is 2500 which is about the norm for the front and I believe the rear was 475 last time I checked
