Safety Devices distributor?
Does anyone know of a decent safety devices distributor that carries their full line? I am looking for a bolt-in cage for my car, and just dont like the fitment of the Autopower lineup, not to mention a full cage is not listed on their website. Before someone points it out, I realize that the Safety Devices cage is not SCCA approved, but I feel the FIA approval that it carries is more than enough for me. It will be used mostly on a weekend car, and for autocross duties.
Thanks
Thanks
Stable Energies in NJ carries Safety Devices gear. They have a web site:

I bought a few things from them and they seem like a good company.

I agree with RJ on this one. We are using a KIRK "ful cage" in the race car and the price was on the mark. Mark Stewart is a super builder (visited them) and can fabricate to fit properly. YES, they build bolt-in cages so that will not be a problem. There are other "custom" builders out there, so that one is your choice.
As to approvals-SCCA and NASA do NOT give a manufacturer a tag to put on a cage as best I understand it. The rulebooks govern design and execution of the unit. It either passes and gets a serial number/logbook or it doesn't.
As to the rest of your gear-check out M&R. Great supplier in New Jersey. Then there is Simpson and Impact.
Kirk is located in Mt Olive (Birmingham), Alabama.
