Im starting to notice quite some play on my shifter for my accord. Whats most noticable is shifting from first to second. Sometime it can shift smooth and other times it cant. Whats happening is when I shift to second is the shifter moves about another 1/4 inch Id say after the clutch is disengaged. When I shift up and down it appears fine when not in motion but when the car moves the shifter moves futher than than what you can put it to when not in motion. I know this sounds confusing, its kind of hard to explain without experiencing the situation yourself. If anyone can help me or make any input on this it would be greatly appreciated.......

 

new bushings?

 

I have no clue, which is exactly why Im asking you guys.....I dont think new bushings would make much sense of it being loose. But what do I know........
