carbon fiber hood question

Default carbon fiber hood question

i just ordered my carbon fiber hood, what kinda hood pins should i get? any specific brand? my friend was tellin me to get the new round flat carbon fiber locks that use keys to lock and unlock. which should i get, let me know asap hood should be here this week

my vis hood has been working fine with the stock latch. i myself hate pins, but i have installed a few sets of sparco pins.

I know that VIS is pretty reliable with just the latch. If I HAD to get hood pins, I would go with the hood locks because I think they look better.

get some locks. i live in LA and theft is a huge problem. my friend can pop my hood from OUTSIDE the car.

i got one from jdmshit.com and it fits pretty damn good.. i personally don't like that hood pins and my stock latch is holdin it tight..
but.. that's all up to you..

I've done it thru the front grill. At least on my friends VX, I have. Never attempted it on mine.
