Default Which Exhaust?

I recently got my car back from the shop and it looks great, Wagon Works did a terrific job! Well anyways i'm trying to patch a Christmas list together here and i'm not sure which cat-backt system to choose. I want something that has a deep tone to it and isn't buzzing like a bee (ricey). Replies are greatly appreciated.

Mugen, RS*R, Comptech, Apexi WS.

Also do search. This topic comes up once a day.

I installed my Comptech last week and I love it! I was kind of worried because I'd never heard one before I put it on and I really didn't want the buzzy sound--but it sounds great! Nice and deep without a hint whatsoever of buzziness!
Highly recommended!

isn't the comptech exhaust just an ultra flo with polished stainless steel piping?

I did search, it's just no one answers that specific question i have. I was thinking though either a Apexi N1 system or thermal because i plan on going turbo in 3-5 months.

RS*R looks real nice. How loud is it? anyone have a clip? I haven't heard a N1 in person, but from responses on this board i get the impression that its raspy. While we're on the topic of exhausts, does anyone have a clip of their apex'i ws?

The N1 is very loud and deep. If you are really concerned about the sound of the N1, consider getting a resonator. The only reason why everyone says its annoying or raspy is because the lack of the resonator. I prefer the N1 for performance-wise due to the straight flow. RS*R makes very good quality exhausts.

The Skunk2 RS*R is the same thing right? Skunk2 bought them? How is the sound of a N1 with resonator? Does the resonator affect performance?

No. RS*R is based in Japan. They use to have an importer (Racebeat). But they no longer import anything into the USA.

Skunk2 exhaust is made by RS*R Ividia. I hear its louder.

Orginal RS*R is the ****, if your lucky enough to find it.

SPOON N1 muffler for sure, very deep tone, provides pretty high flow and lightweight...

The N1 is not even loud IMO with a resonator. It has a low deep tone. I don't think having a resonator affects the performance...it just quiets the tone a bit.

I heard the Skunk2 exhaust is very loud and the qualit is very nice. It is stainlss steel throughout the whole pipe.

How much is the Spoon N1? Must be a grip.

I'll probably end up purchasing the Apexi N1 system, I'd like to get the spoon system but i don't think spoon and the word turbo mix together...

Good choice. I think it is the best exhaust out there right now being a staight flow exhaust with minimal bends. When I got mine, the throttle response was much quicker.
