Default AC clutch.... very stiff.

hello all, the person sold me the type r told me he has upgraded to AC Clutch.. And I think it is too stiff for me, harder for me to learn to drive it.

I was wonder if i jerk the car too much, or grind the clutch.... how much will it be to replace a damage clutch later on?

ppl said it is expensive, but how much ?

Maybe "ACT" ...

Learning to drive a manual tranny car with a heavy clutch pedal only makes driving a normal clutch later easier.

Labor- 200- 400
parts- depends on what you want- from 150

i'll trade my stock clutch for the ACT if you want. Need to put all this stuff in while the motor is out.

How'd you find that out and do you know what stage? If you do replace it, don't use the Clutchmasters OEM

the seller told me, i have no idea.

I don't know what stage it is...

I am learning to drive the type r now.. it jerks, it stalls, once in a while i shift without press clutch, making drilling sound...which is very bad for the clutch i heard... try very hard to aviod that now.

Not bad for the clutch, bad for the tranny. Be careful!!
