Is it possible to put b16 pistons in a ls block for my ls vtec. I guess if its possible it'll bump up the compression a little. Does anyone have it and what kind of power is it putting down. and will balancing the crankshaft in my ls block help any.

 

i put in b16 (p30) pistons into my ls build up. with the ls head its making about 11:1 compression. go to http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...c.php to find out what kind of compression you will be running with the head you will use.

 

yeah, it'll work... makes about 11.5:1 compression when using ls rods and crank

 

i calculated it with my gsr head and it gave me 12:1 compression

 

is there any machining involved or do they press right onto the wrist pins?

 

i believe they press right into the wrist pins
