Default Eclipse stock turbos

Does anyone ever use the stock turbo off an Eclipse or Talon? I have a buddy with a TSi that is getting ready to buy a new turbo and said he'de sell me his cheap and just thought if it would work I could have a fun "junkyard" setup. Oh also, what manifold if any will work on a Bseries with that turbo? Thanks!

It is a common junkyard turbo to use, but usually on the D-series with the HF manifold and an adapter plate.

I used a TD05 for a long time. It works just fine for a small turbo.

if its the old tsi body then get it that 14b turbo has great midrange and will pull nicely on a ls motor.now if he got the 95 and up then dont get it cause thats the t25 dsm turbo which is a great daily driver but def not good for race since it dies so early in the rpm's.

I'm making a $500 turbo setup utilizing a brand new 13G for my beater.

Its actually possible to attach the DSM turbos to an HF manifold without an adapter plate. I used to have a T-25 setup on my old ZC. It held up for over 2 years with no plate.

Well I will not be able to use an HF manifold since I got a B18. I need a manifold that wil bolt up to the turbo and the head.
