NEED HELP (ELECTRICAL)
okay, over the weekend my cuz was driving his car and all of a sudden it just died...so i went to look at it...and turns out that it keeps blowing a 15AMP fuse...the fuse label thats on the fuse cover inside the engine bay is gone b/c he had recently washed it and fell off...so i have no clue as to what fuse it is...
i put a new 15 amp fuse back on and it starts, ok good...wrong, 2 min later it dies again. so i put another one on just to make sure and that also dies too...so anyways help me. i will get pictures of the fuse box so that you guys can tell me what fuse the 15amp is for...
also when he was driving it threw a cel...where do we check the cel at...i know where the civic and integra wires are to jump to check the codes but where is the accord wire at?
help me out...i'm new to accords...

Ignition Switch, Take off your steering column cover, on the left side right by the steering wheel height adjuster, the is this little black thing you have to take out, it's a little tricky, go to a Honda Dealer and ask them to print you out a picture of the ignition switch, the part costs about $30 USD, $50 CND, once you get the part, it will most likely be blue and white, you have to take out the coils from the housing, and connect it from two sides when you are putting it on, that is most likely your problem. if you have a 1997-1999+ there is a recall on the ignition switch, honda will do it for free if this is the case, but the total time to do this is about 15-20mins. To check the problem when your car dies hold the key up in the on position between the start and on. If the car stays running, then the problem is the ignition switch, i think i still have pics if you need.
hey, sorry i havent got the pics up yet...but hey, i am thinking the same thing as you are...i've heard of this problem being common on accords...do you still have the pics of how to remove/install a new one...
