I have seen a concept of a new accord wagon. Does anyone know if it is going to be on the assembly line anytime soon?

I am not sure, but the new JDM wagons are very sexy, makes me want to import one if I had the money.

Of course that would be TSX wagon for us. Haven't looked lately but I don't think there is an Inspire wagon so who knows. But . . . I would take a TSX wagon any day.

I was just thinking about this today, I will be in the market for a new family car in about 15 or 18 months or so (keeping my '99 Accord sedan as a commuter).

At this point I would want a decent sized station wagon (wife, 2 kids) with manual transmission, so that pretty much limits me to the Subaru Forester, Volvo V70, or the Volkeswagon Passat wagon. I like my Accord and would go with a new Accord wagon, if available.

Then again, my wife is leaning towards an Odyssey, so my dream of a wagon with manual transmission may be a moot point.

Where does the "TSX" come from?

Well our TSX is the Japanese market Accord. So if someone saw an Accord wagon in real life it would be the touring edition Accord from Japan (our TSX). Also there seems to be a new minivan concept on the Honda of Japan's site looking like an updated Odyssey. Nice, could be cool. Here it is: http://www.honda.co.jp/ELYSION/photocollection/

Is TSX the correct term then?

Take a look at an Acura TSX. We call it an Acura TSX, Japan calls it a Honda Accord.

Take a look at a Honda Accord. We call it a HOnda Accord, Japan calls it a Honda Inspire. There ya go.
