My B16 Drag Dyno #'s
We got the dyno at our shop last night and we used my car as the guninie pig for the first runs
Dynojet didn't send a clamp for the wideband so the a/f jumps around some and flew out of the exhaust in one run. Still you see it runs way rich at top end and even runs off the page in two runs.
Setup:
Bone stock B16
DRAG III kit
FMU
Stock injectors
Walbro 255 Intank
Inline pump
9psi

Max Hp was 238

matt your starting to remind me of professor nate, i remember when he was running low 11s he was around the 240whp mark, just that his car only weighed 1600lbs.
when i look at that dyno and see your 11.8 time, its just amazing.

It weighs 2190 with me in it at the track. I weigh about 160 so the car is not too bad but could be lighter.
BTW this was at 9lbs and my 11 sec runs were at 10 psi. Once we get the shop setup i'll do some more pulls and then start tuning but at least I know what it's doing for now and know I can take some fuel out up top

great times. 11.8 is damn fast, im assuming that was on slicks. anyways You should upgrade to a better fuel management. I'm using hondata stage2 and my tuner tuned it in increments of 2psi. the a/f was 11.4-11.8 all the way through. = 9psi b18c1 288.2 whp in 97 civic. With those numbers your times would come down even more. Uberdata would do the same... anyways nice numbers and good luck.

Well according to my math if I make 480whp it will run 6's

Your AFRs suck.
Get tuned, and you'll make more power, get better MPG, run better/smoother. And you will be less likely to blow your motor.

I'm aware the AF sucks but with a fmu it's not adjustable. I have a SAFC I may throw on to tune some of it out but i'm more than likely going Hondata.

for a car that is driven daily for over 50 miles a day and still runs 11s and still gets 30mpg, I would say that while the AF's don't look pretty, his car freakin hammers like no tomorrow, and hell, he's been boosting for a while now.

Matt,
I don't think you'll need 480whp to hit 6s. Maybe 330whp at the most. 480 will get you low 6s
If you can hit 7.5s with only 260whp, another 70whp will do it, especially with your car being so light. It will come pretty easily once you build the bottom end and replace the clutch. I can almost guarantee that is all it will take for you to do it. I bet you could even do it on the fmu. Yes your a/fs will be nasty, but I bet you can do it. Really it is all about the set up and area under the curve, peak whp means nothing if it is unusable. This is one reason why your car is so quick, you are making the most of what you have. To pull 11.8@112mph is getting the most out of your set up. I bet most guys on here would have to trap 116-117mph to hit the same e.t. Anyways, I am blabbering on, we can discuss this in person.
On the other hand, my car weighing in at 3600lbs w/driver will need 550whp to hit 6s (theoretically)
Oh well, luckily I don't drag race anymore so I won't be tempted to go single anytime soon
