5500 for gsr conversion?????? too much?

Default 5500 for gsr conversion?????? too much?

hey guys
called my local shop
great name where i live in canada
they want 5500 for gsr complete going into a 95 civic
is that too much
every1 tells me they get it done for like 3500 canadian

That's a rip off. b18c's can be bought for roughly around 3000 and for sure it doesn't cost 2500 for labor.

I would say that is real close to fair. You guys have to remember that he is talking canadian money. So 4,167 is what that guy claims it to be so I would say that average is around 3200-3500 US currency right now for a GSR swap. Then about 800 to do all the labor. Which if you did it yourself it would save you alot of money. But since they have overhead that is about average I think.

That sounds about right if your talking 5500 CAD. See if they will cut $$$ off. It doesn't hurt to nogotiate. That's business.

if interested I know someone who can do the swap for you for $4200-4500CAN (about $3200-3500US), this includes everything cleanly installed... lower price is for a NON-LSD equipped swap. the latter for LSD equipped JDM B18C. no hacks, no butchery, with a clean tested motor.
