ZC head options.

Default ZC head options.

What if any other head will fit on my zc block? I recently skipped a tooth on my DOHC head and bent exhaust valves. Please have mercy on my ****.

none that I am aware of, AFAIK you are stuck w/ locating another DOHC ZC head....

You can use a dohc D16A1 head from an 86-89 integra with the two following conditions.

1) assuming yours is an electronic advance ignition, use the 88-89 D16A1 head that had electronic advance ignition, NOT the 86-87 head that had vacuum advance ignition. I don't know if the distributors will swap between the heads or not.

2) ZCs and D16A1s use cam pulleys and crank pulleys with different tooth counts, so you MUST use the matched set of all three pulleys. I don't know if the cams align the same when using the other engines pulleys or not.

BTW d-series.org & thezcr.com should have enough infor to answer most of your ZC ?'s
