Hi, I just bought some SPC Adjustable Ball Joint kits for my 1988 Honda CRX. I've been researching about the upper control arms sourced from 1990-1991 Honda Civic CRX must be used? Why can't I use my 1988 Honda CRX arms? Also, will I be able to use the 1990-1991 Honda Civic (not CRX) Upper Control Arms to do this swap?

You need 90-91 because the 88-89 have a not removeable joint.

do u guys happen to have pictures? ARe the 90-91 Civic ones (not CRX) interchangeable?

 

i want someone to make complete adjustable upper control arms..not just some ball joint swap..but whatever works for now

 

Yeah as well do i. However, is there anyways I can just take out the balljoint (cut the weld and put the new balljoint in?). Reply if ya got an answer pls

 

you need a 90-91 crx OR civic UCA. i have the kit on my 90 civic. you wouldnt want to weld it in, it lines up perfectly w/ the 90-91 arm. just get one from a junkyard.

 

Sweet that's all I needed to know 90civichbsi. Gonna head back over and pick up my UCA. Mucho appreciated.
